Prop Firm List Details

Our list of prop trading firms details besides the prop firm name and rating, some additional insightful aspects:

• Type: The prop firm type indicates what type of assets you can primarily trade with the prop firm. Futures prop firms typically focus on trading futures contracts listed on a futures exchange like the CME. In contrast, the forex-focused prop firms focus on trading forex pairs. Some companies also specialize in trading stocks or cryptocurrencies.
• Profit Split: The profit split, also known as profit share, indicates how much of the generated profits can be withdrawn by the trader. The higher the number, the better.
• Platforms: You may know some of the trading platforms that prop firms use for private trading or investing. NinjaTrader and MetaTrader, for example, are well-known among the trading community. However, some prop firms have self-developed trading software and platforms.
• Account Size: The account size indicates the buying power you have when trading a funded account. That means that this value already reflects the maximum leveraged exposure.
• Challenge Types: Instant funding is the fastest way to get funded, but it is also the most expensive way. Challenges with a 1-step, 2-step or 3-step logic are much cheaper since you have to prove your skills first before getting funded.
• Costs: Some prop firms offer one-time fee challenges and some monthly recurring cost-based challenges. The monthly ones are a bit cheaper upfront, while the one-time-payment challenges are typically at the higher end of the pricing.
• Deal: If we have a special deal available that helps you save money, then this is listed there.
