Top One Futures Review

Top One Futures is a futures prop firm that operates on simulated capital across all funded account stages, with a live capital pathway available for traders who qualify. No founding year or headquarters location is published on the firm’s site.

The firm offers 6 distinct account lines: 3 evaluation-based programs (Elite Challenge, Elite Daily, and Elite ACCESS) and 3 instant funding programs (Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, and Ignite). All funded stages use simulated capital. A live capital pathway exists and is covered in the Live Account Pathway section of this review.

No regulatory or legal disclosures are stated on the firm’s site.

Top One Futures does not publish pass rates, payout rates, funded trader statistics, or any performance transparency data.

Account Types & Pricing

Top One Futures offers 6 account lines across 2 structural models: evaluation-based programs that require passing a challenge before accessing a funded account, and instant funding programs that give traders immediate access to a funded simulation account with no challenge required.

Elite Challenge (Evaluation-Based)

The Elite Challenge is a 1-step evaluation. You pass a single challenge phase, pay a one-time activation fee, and move into an Elite Sim Funded account. The subscription renews monthly on the same calendar date as purchase (not every 30 days). Retail pricing per account size:

Account SizeMonthly Subscription
$25,000$69/month
$50,000$105/month
$100,000$209/month
$150,000$309/month

The activation fee to transition from the challenge to the funded stage is a flat $149 one-time fee that applies to all account sizes. Reset fees for the Elite Challenge account differ from the subscription cost:

Account SizeChallenge Reset Fee
$25,000$39
$50,000$59
$100,000$109
$150,000$169

For the Elite Sim Funded account (reached after passing the challenge), resets are priced separately:

Account SizeFunded Reset Fee
$25,000$199
$50,000$299
$100,000$399
$150,000$499

Instant Sim Funded (Instant Funding)

The Instant Sim Funded program gives traders immediate access to a funded simulation account with no evaluation required. Subscription pricing for Instant Sim Funded accounts is not listed on the Top One Futures site; contact support for current pricing.

Instant Sim Funded accounts cannot be reset.

S2F Sim PRO (Instant Funding)

The S2F Sim PRO program is a lower-cost instant funding option that uses intraday trailing drawdown rather than end-of-day trailing drawdown. Subscription pricing for S2F Sim PRO accounts is not listed on the Top One Futures site; contact support for current pricing.

S2F Sim PRO accounts cannot be reset.

Ignite (Instant Funding, One-Time Fee)

Ignite is a one-time fee instant funding program with no recurring subscription and no activation fee. It’s described as a limited-time plan. Specific pricing per account size is not listed publicly; contact support for current pricing.

Elite Daily (Evaluation-Based, Daily Payouts)

The Elite Daily program is a 1-phase evaluation designed for traders who want daily payout eligibility once funded. There is no activation fee. Once you pass the evaluation, your funded account is automatically issued at the start of the next trading session. Challenge reset fees:

Account SizeChallenge Reset Fee
$25,000$79
$50,000$95
$100,000$185

Funded account reset fees:

Account SizeFunded Reset Fee
$25,000$299
$50,000$499
$100,000$849

The subscription/purchase fee for the Elite Daily evaluation is not listed publicly; contact support for current pricing.

Elite ACCESS (Evaluation-Based)

Elite ACCESS is a 1-phase evaluation with a one-time entry fee of $39 for all account sizes, a 30-day time limit, and an activation fee required upon passing. The activation fee ranges from $139 to $359 depending on account size; specific per-size amounts are not listed publicly and should be confirmed with support. The reset fee is a flat $35 for the evaluation, and funded reset fees range from $299 to $1,349 depending on account size; specific per-size amounts should also be confirmed with support. Elite ACCESS accounts are available in $25k, $50k, $100k, and $150k sizes.

Evaluation Rules

Evaluation rules differ across account lines. This section covers the Elite Challenge, Elite Daily, and Elite ACCESS programs: the 3 evaluation-based products. Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, and Ignite have no evaluation stage.

Profit Target

Rules differ across evaluation account lines, as shown in the table below.

Account SizeElite ChallengeElite DailyElite ACCESS
$25,000$1,500 (6%)$1,500 (6%)$1,500 (6%)
$50,000$3,000 (6%)$3,000 (6%)$3,000 (6%)
$100,000$6,000 (6%)$6,000 (6%)$6,000 (6%)
$150,000$9,000 (6%)Not offered$9,000 (6%)

All profit targets are expressed as both a dollar amount and a percentage. The profit target is based on the starting account balance. Profit is counted on closed trades only; open floating positions don’t count.

Drawdown Rules (Evaluation)

Trailing Drawdown Values

Rules differ across evaluation account lines, as shown in the table below. These values represent the maximum loss the account can sustain before breach.

Account SizeElite ChallengeElite DailyElite ACCESS
$25,000$1,000 (4%)$1,000 (4%)$1,000 (4%)
$50,000$2,000 (4%)$2,000 (4%)$2,000 (4%)
$100,000$3,000 (3%)$3,000 (3%)$3,000 (3%)
$150,000$4,500 (3%)Not offered$4,000 (2.67%)

The drawdown level trails from the highest closed balance achieved by the end of each trading day. The Elite Challenge drawdown rules are the same for both the Elite Challenge account and the Elite Sim Funded account.

Daily Loss Limit

The daily loss limit during the Elite Challenge evaluation is $625 for a $25k account, $1,250 for a $50k account, $2,500 for a $100k account, and $3,750 for a $150k account. This represents 2.5% of the account balance.

For Elite Daily evaluation accounts, no daily loss limit applies during the evaluation phase. The daily loss limit on Elite Daily only activates once the account is funded.

For Elite ACCESS evaluation accounts, no daily loss limit applies during the evaluation phase.

The daily loss limit is calculated based on the previous day’s closing balance. If your daily loss limit is hit, trading is paused for the remainder of that trading day and resumes the following session.

Drawdown Calculation Method

Elite Challenge: EOD trailing. The drawdown level only updates at the end of each trading day based on the highest closing balance achieved. Intraday highs don’t move the level, but you can’t drop below the current drawdown threshold at any point intraday. A breach intraday is still a breach even if the balance recovers before the session closes.

Elite Daily: EOD trailing. The MLL is based on your end-of-day balance and adjusts only at session close.

Elite ACCESS: EOD trailing. The drawdown is calculated end-of-day only.

Drawdown Lock

For the Elite Challenge, there is no drawdown lock during the evaluation phase. The lock behavior applies at the funded stage and is documented there.

For Elite Daily and Elite ACCESS evaluations, the drawdown trails until the account transitions to funded status, at which point the funded drawdown lock behavior applies.

Consistency Rule (Evaluation)

Elite Challenge: No consistency rule applies during the evaluation. You can earn your entire profit target in a single trading session and qualify immediately.

Elite Daily: A 45% consistency rule applies. No single trading day may account for more than 45% of your total profit at the time you pass the profit target. If the 45% threshold is exceeded when you reach the profit target, the account doesn’t hard-fail. You simply continue trading to distribute profits more evenly until the threshold is met.

Elite ACCESS: No consistency rule applies during the evaluation.

Minimum Trading Days

Elite Challenge: None. You can pass in a single trading day.

Elite Daily: None. You can pass on any number of days as long as the 45% consistency rule is also met.

Elite ACCESS: 1 minimum trading day (in practice, you can pass in a single trading day).

Time Limit

Elite Challenge: No time limit. Subscriptions renew monthly, and you can take as long as needed at no additional cost beyond your recurring subscription.

Elite Daily: No time limit is published for the Elite Daily evaluation.

Elite ACCESS: 30-day time limit. You must reach the 6% profit target within 30 calendar days.

Position Size & Contract Limits

Rules differ across evaluation account lines, as shown in the table below. Elite Challenge and Elite ACCESS have fixed contract limits with no scaling during the evaluation. Elite Daily also uses fixed limits during evaluation.

$150,0007 minis / 70 microsNot offered7 minis / 70 micros

Micro Bitcoin (MBT) contracts have separate, lower limits that mirror the standard limits shown above on a per-account-size basis.

Activation Fee

The activation fee for the Elite Challenge is $149 one-time, paid at the transition from the challenge phase to the funded stage. This fee applies uniformly to all account sizes. The subscription for the Elite Challenge account stops only after the activation fee is paid, not automatically upon passing. If you fail, you must manually cancel the subscription to stop recurring charges.

Elite Daily has no activation fee. Upon passing, the funded account is automatically issued at the start of the next trading session.

Elite ACCESS has an activation fee that varies by account size, ranging from $139 to $359. Specific per-size amounts are not listed publicly; contact support to confirm before purchasing.

Funded Account Rules

This section covers the rules that apply once you’re in a funded simulation account. For evaluation-based programs (Elite Challenge, Elite Daily, Elite ACCESS), funded rules apply after the evaluation is passed. For instant funding programs (Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, Ignite), funded rules apply from day one.

All funded accounts operate on simulated capital. You don’t need to risk your own money; payouts come from simulated profits. The funded stage for all programs is sim-funded, not live capital.

Drawdown Rules (Funded)

Rules differ across account lines. The drawdown method, values, and lock behavior all vary between programs.

Trailing Drawdown Values

Rules differ across funded account types, as shown in the table below.

Account SizeElite Sim FundedInstant Sim FundedS2F Sim PROIgniteElite Daily (Funded)Elite ACCESS (Funded)

$150,000$4,500 (3%)$4,500 (3%)3% TIDD3%Not offered$3,500 (2.33%)

For the Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded accounts, the drawdown trails from the highest closing balance at end of day. For S2F Sim PRO, the 3% TIDD trails from the highest intraday equity including unrealized (open) positions. For Elite Daily funded accounts, the $100k funded account has a lower drawdown amount (2.5% / $2,500) than the evaluation ($3,000 / 3%).

Daily Loss Limit

Rules differ across funded account types, as shown in the table below.

Account SizeElite Sim FundedInstant Sim FundedS2F Sim PROIgniteElite Daily (Funded)Elite ACCESS (Funded)

$150,000$3,750 (2.5%)$3,750 (2.5%)$3,000 (2%)$3,000 (2%)Not offered$1,750

The daily loss limit is calculated based on the previous day’s closing balance and is a separate rule from the trailing drawdown. Hitting the daily loss limit causes a soft breach: trading is paused for the remainder of that session but resumes the following day, provided the account hasn’t also breached the max trailing drawdown.

Drawdown Calculation Method

Elite Sim Funded: EOD trailing. The drawdown level updates based on the highest closing balance at end of each trading day. Intraday highs don’t move the level, but the balance can’t drop below the current drawdown threshold at any point intraday.

Instant Sim Funded: EOD trailing. Identical method to Elite Sim Funded.

S2F Sim PRO: Intraday trailing. This is the key distinction between S2F Sim PRO and all other funded programs. The drawdown level updates in real time based on the highest equity achieved during the day, including open, unrealized positions. If your equity spikes to a new intraday high while a trade is open and then drops, the drawdown level is set from that intraday peak, not just your closed balance. The level doesn’t reset at end of day.

Ignite: EOD trailing.

Elite Daily (Funded): EOD trailing. The Max Loss Limit adjusts based on end-of-day balance only.

Elite ACCESS (Funded): EOD trailing.

Drawdown Lock

For Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded accounts, the trailing drawdown stops trailing once the account reaches the drawdown amount plus $100 in profit above the starting balance. At that point, it locks $100 above the starting balance and stops moving. The lock also activates upon the first payout, whichever comes first. If the account balance falls below the locked drawdown level at any point, the account is permanently breached and closed.

Account SizeBalance to LockDrawdown Locks At
$25,000$26,100$25,100
$50,000$52,100$50,100
$100,000$103,100$100,100
$150,000$154,600$150,100

Once the drawdown locks, taking a payout reduces your balance but the drawdown level stays fixed at $100 above the original starting balance. This leaves a smaller buffer between your post-payout balance and the locked drawdown level.

For S2F Sim PRO, the intraday trailing drawdown only locks after the first payout is received. Before that, it continues to trail from intraday highs. After the first payout, it locks at the starting balance plus $100 and stops trailing. If equity drops below the locked drawdown level, the account is breached.

For Elite Daily funded accounts, the drawdown locks at the starting balance plus $100, following the same threshold mechanic as Elite/Instant accounts. For the $100k funded account, the drawdown locks when the account reaches $100,100 based on end-of-day results. If the account closes at or below the locked drawdown level, the account is permanently terminated.

For Elite ACCESS funded accounts, the drawdown lock follows the same pattern: it locks at the starting balance plus $100 once sufficient profit is achieved. Falling below the locked drawdown level results in a permanent account breach.

Consistency Rule (Funded)

Rules differ across funded account types. Never assume the funded consistency rule matches the evaluation consistency rule; they’re separate.

Elite Sim Funded: A 25% consistency rule applies. No single trading day may account for more than 25% of your total profits. The consistency rule resets after each payout. It’s calculated from the day you start trading your funded account until you receive a payout, then restarts fresh for the next cycle. A trading day ends at 5:00 PM EST for the purposes of this calculation.

Instant Sim Funded: A 20% consistency rule applies. No single trading day may account for more than 20% of your total profits. Resets after each payout. A trading day ends at 5:00 PM EST.

S2F Sim PRO: Instead of a consistency rule, S2F Sim PRO uses an Equity Stability Score (ESS). The formula is: (Best Day Profit + Worst Day Loss as a positive number) ÷ Total Profit × 100. Your ESS must be 20% or lower to qualify for a payout. The ESS resets after every payout.

Ignite: A 15% consistency rule applies. No single trading day may account for more than 15% of total profits.

Elite Daily (Funded): No consistency rule applies to the funded stage. There is no consistency requirement for payout eligibility on Elite Daily funded accounts. The 45% consistency rule is an evaluation-only rule.

Elite ACCESS (Funded): A 40% consistency rule applies. No single trading day may account for more than 40% of total profits.

Elite Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, and Ignite all use fixed contract limits in the funded stage; the limit doesn’t change as the account grows. Elite Daily and Elite ACCESS funded accounts use dynamic scaling plans.

Profit Split

The profit split is 90/10 across all sim-funded account types. You keep 90% of your payout amount; the firm retains 10%. This applies uniformly to Elite Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, Ignite, Elite Daily, and Elite ACCESS funded accounts.

When a trader transitions to a Live Account, the profit split changes to 80/20, with the firm’s 20% reinvested as bonus capital toward scaling (see Live Account Pathway).

Payout Rules

Payout conditions differ significantly across account types. Read carefully to ensure you’re reviewing the rules for your specific program.

First Payout Requirements

Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded: To qualify for the first payout, you must achieve a 6% profit target based on your starting balance, and meet the consistency rule (25% for Elite, 20% for Instant). No minimum trading days. No minimum payout frequency restriction.

S2F Sim PRO: First payout requires trading on at least 10 separate days (with at least 7 of those days profitable; a profitable day is defined as reaching 0.1% of starting balance in realized profit), a 6% profit target based on the starting balance, and an ESS of 20% or lower.

Ignite: First payout requires a 5% profit target based on the initial account balance and meeting the 15% consistency rule. No minimum trading days.

Elite Daily: First payout requires a minimum of 1 trading day (funded accounts). There is no profit target to keep the funded account active, but you must have profits above the payout buffer before a withdrawal can be requested. No consistency rule on the funded stage.

Elite ACCESS: First payout requires a minimum of 5 profitable trading days, with each day reaching the minimum daily profit threshold ($200 on $25k, $250 on $50k, $300 on $100k, $350 on $150k). You must also have reached the required profit above the buffer (buffer amount plus $500) and meet the 40% consistency rule.

Subsequent Payout Requirements

Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded: The profit target decreases with each successive payout. For accounts purchased after May 22, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST, the targets are: 1st payout 6%, 2nd payout 5% relative to post-payout balance, 3rd payout and beyond 4% relative to post-payout balance. Accounts purchased before that cutoff use lower targets (5%, 4%, 3%). The consistency rule resets and must be met again for each subsequent payout.

S2F Sim PRO: The profit target for the 2nd payout drops to 5% of the post-payout balance, and subsequent payouts follow the same schedule as Elite/Instant (4% from the 3rd payout onward). The 10-day / 7-profitable-day requirement and 20% ESS apply to every payout.

Ignite: Every payout requires 5% profit relative to the balance after the previous payout. The 15% consistency rule must be met for each cycle.

Elite Daily: The 50% Daily Progression Rule applies to every payout after the first. To request any payout, at least 50% of the requested amount must come from profits generated since the last withdrawal. The payout buffer must remain intact. There is no ongoing profit target once funded.

Elite ACCESS: The same requirements apply to each subsequent payout: 5 profitable days, minimum daily profit threshold, 40% consistency, and balance must exceed the buffer by at least $500.

Payout Frequency

Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded: No fixed frequency. You can request a payout as soon as you meet the profit target and consistency rule.

S2F Sim PRO: No fixed frequency; you can request when requirements are met.

Ignite: No fixed frequency; you can request when requirements are met.

Elite Daily: Daily. Funded traders can request a payout every 24 hours once funded conditions are met.

Elite ACCESS: On-demand. You can request whenever all payout conditions are met.

Payout Buffer

Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded: No separate payout buffer is required. The drawdown lock mechanic sets the effective minimum balance level. After a payout, the trailing drawdown locks at the starting balance plus $100, meaning your post-payout balance must remain above that locked drawdown level. After a payout, the trailing drawdown locks at the starting balance plus $100, meaning your post-payout balance must remain above that locked level.

S2F Sim PRO: No separate payout buffer applies.

Ignite: No payout buffer applies.

Elite Daily: A fixed payout buffer must remain in the account before any withdrawal is permitted. Only profits above the buffer are eligible for withdrawal.

Account SizePayout Buffer
$25,000$1,500
$50,000$2,000
$100,000$3,000

Elite ACCESS: A payout buffer must also remain in the account.

Account SizePayout Buffer
$25,000$1,500
$50,000$2,000
$100,000$3,000
$150,000$4,500

For Elite ACCESS, you can only request a payout once your balance exceeds the buffer plus an additional $500.

Daily Progression Rule

Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded: No daily progression rule applies. There is no requirement that a portion of each payout come from new profits.

S2F Sim PRO: No daily progression rule applies.

Ignite: No daily progression rule applies.

Elite Daily: A 50% daily progression rule applies after the first payout. At least 50% of any requested payout amount must come from profits generated since the last withdrawal. This resets after every payout.

Elite ACCESS: A 50% daily progression rule applies. At least 50% of each payout request must come from profits generated after the previous payout.

Payout Caps & Limits

Rules differ across funded account types, as shown in the table below. These caps apply per single payout request while in the sim-funded stage. Once a trader transitions to a Live Account, payout caps are removed.

Minimum payout amounts: $500 for Elite ACCESS; $500 for Elite Daily; $250 for Ignite. No minimum payout amount is published for Elite Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded, or S2F Sim PRO.

Scaling Plan

Elite Sim Funded: No contract scaling plan applies. Contract limits are fixed from the start of the funded stage and don’t increase as the account balance grows.

Instant Sim Funded: No contract scaling plan applies. Contract limits are fixed.

S2F Sim PRO: No contract scaling plan applies. Contract limits are fixed from day one.

Ignite: No contract scaling plan applies.

Elite Daily (Funded): A dynamic contract scaling plan applies to the funded stage only, not during evaluation. During evaluation, the full contract limit is available from day one. Once funded, contract limits scale based on the account’s closing balance at the end of each trading day. Scaling tiers for the funded stage:

Contract increases apply the following trading day after your closing balance qualifies. Intraday profits don’t unlock higher tiers until the session closes.

Elite ACCESS (Funded): A dynamic contract scaling plan also applies to the funded stage only. Tiers are documented for all 4 account sizes. The $25K account has full allocation from day one. The $50K, $100K, and $150K accounts scale through multiple tiers based on simulated profit, reaching the same full allocation limits shown in the Position Size table above. Scaling is also calculated on end-of-day balance.

Live Account Pathway

Top One Futures offers a pathway to live capital for traders who consistently generate sim-funded payouts. All programs use simulated capital at the funded stage. The Live Account is the first stage where real capital is deployed.

Qualification threshold: For Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded accounts, a risk manager reviews your account after 3 successful payouts. You may be transitioned to live at that point, or kept in sim for further review. Top One Futures may also transition you earlier than the third payout at their discretion. For S2F Sim PRO accounts, review begins after 2 payouts. For Ignite, review begins after 3 payouts.

Pre-Live stage: Most traders transition through a Pre-Live stage before receiving full live capital. Pre-Live mirrors the funded sim environment but removes the consistency rule and payout caps, and allows daily payouts starting as soon as you’re in profit. Pre-Live accounts are typically active within 3–5 business days. During Pre-Live, you may hold and trade one challenge account, but you can’t progress it to a sim funded account or request payouts from it.

Capital carried over: Your sim profits up to a maximum of 10% of your starting sim balance are carried over to the Live Account. If you hold multiple sim funded accounts, only the highest-profit single account carries over; profits don’t combine across accounts.

Live Account rules: The Max Loss Limit is set at 60% of the account size as a static drawdown (it doesn’t trail). The consistency rule is removed unless you request it stays in place. The Daily Loss Limit is set at the firm’s discretion. You can request payouts every 24 hours with a minimum payout of $200. Withdrawable profits are those created above your starting balance.

Live profit split: The split changes from 90/10 to 80/20. The firm reinvests its 20% share as bonus capital at the following withdrawal milestones:

Total Profits WithdrawnBonus Capital Added
$10,000$2,000
$25,000$3,000
$50,000$5,000
$75,000$5,000
$100,000$5,000
$150,000$10,000
$200,000$10,000
$250,000$20,000
$500,000$40,000

Scaling through this program is conducted at the discretion of the risk management team and must be requested by the trader. The account must be in good standing, and a risk assessment is conducted before approval.

If you are selected to go live, you can’t choose to remain in sim funding. Once in live, you can’t open additional sim funded accounts (though you may trade one challenge account during Pre-Live). If your live account is lost, the risk management team determines next steps based on trading activity across all associated accounts.

Overnight positions are not permitted. All open trades are automatically liquidated by 4:10 PM EST each trading day. If you don’t close positions manually before 4:10 PM EST, the system will force-liquidate them at that time. This applies to all account types and all instruments, including crypto.

News Trading Policy

For most account types (Elite Challenge, Elite Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO), news trading is permitted with no stated restrictions. Traders are expected to manage their own risk during high-volatility events.

For Elite Daily funded accounts only, a news restriction applies. No trades may be opened, closed, or modified during a window of 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after any major high-impact economic event. This is a total restricted window of 4 minutes per event. You may hold a position through a news event if it was opened before the 2-minute pre-news window, but you may not close it or modify stops/targets during the window. Violations on funded Elite Daily accounts can result in profit removal, payout denial, or account flagging. The news restriction on Elite Daily does not apply during the evaluation phase.

For Elite ACCESS funded accounts, the same 2-minute before/2-minute after restriction applies to high-impact news events. This restriction is funded-only for Elite ACCESS; it does not apply during the evaluation.

For Elite Daily and Elite ACCESS evaluation accounts, news trading is unrestricted.

Expert Advisors & Copy Trading

Expert Advisors (EAs) and automated bots are not permitted on any account type. All trading must be manual or semi-manual. Use of EAs or bots on any account can result in suspension or termination and forfeiture of profits.

Copy trading is permitted under specific conditions, but only between accounts of the same type and same size. You can’t copy between different account types (e.g., from S2F PRO to Elite or Instant Sim Funded).

Copy trading rules per account type:

  • Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded: Copy trading is allowed between accounts of the same type and same size (e.g., Elite $50k to Elite $50k). Maximum 3 accounts in a copy trading setup.
  • S2F Sim PRO: Copy trading is allowed between S2F Sim PRO accounts of the exact same size only. Maximum 5 accounts. You can’t copy between S2F PRO and any other account type.
  • Ignite: Copy trading is allowed between Ignite accounts of the same size only. Maximum 6 accounts.

Top One Futures provides a built-in trade copier feature through the Tradovate platform. Traders using third-party copy trading software are solely responsible for execution errors and account outcomes.

Copy trading between your own Top One Futures accounts and accounts at other firms is permitted, as long as all trade decisions originate from activity on the Top One Futures account. Signal following, group trading, coordinated trading with family members, and mirroring another person’s trades remain prohibited regardless of how they’re executed.

Prohibited Practices

The following behaviors are prohibited on all account types at all stages:

  1. Exploiting system errors, pricing errors, latency, or mispricings in the broker’s feed
  2. Trading on insider or non-public information
  3. Front-running: placing trades based on anticipated price movement from trades placed at another firm or account
  4. Hedging one account against another, whether within Top One Futures or across other brokers
  5. Allowing any person other than the registered account owner to trade on the account
  6. Minimum trade duration violation: all trades must remain open for more than 10 seconds (10.00 seconds is a violation; 10.01 seconds is acceptable). Closing any portion of a trade before 10 seconds is a violation. Adding to a trade within 10 seconds is permitted. Occasional minor violations are tolerable, but if violations account for close to 50% or more of total profits or 50% or more of individual trades, all profits from those trades are removed.
  7. Trading strategies that risk broker relationships (abnormal flow, slippage targeting, mass quote stuffing)
  8. Activity that could cause regulatory exposure
  9. Using publicly available or purchased systems marketed to help pass challenges
  10. Rolling, churning, or gambling: creating multiple accounts in short periods and allowing most to fail while focusing on passing just one
  11. Arbitraging trades between Top One Futures and other firms
  12. Automated trading, EAs, bots, or high-frequency execution tools
  13. Copy trading between different individuals, coordinated trading with relatives or friends, following signal services, Telegram groups, or Discord alerts
  14. Intentional account breaching (sim farming): deliberately failing funded accounts to stay in the simulated environment
  15. Exceeding the household limit of 3 Instant or Elite Sim Funded accounts (or more than 5–9 S2F PRO accounts)

Consequences for violations range from removal of profits associated with violating trades, to payout denial, to permanent account breach and forfeiture.

Additional Rules

Inactivity Rule

All traders must place at least 1 trade every 14 calendar days, including weekends and holidays. If no trades are placed in any 14-day window, the account is permanently hard-breached and closed. All progress and profits on the account are lost. There is no warning; the closure is automatic.

Maximum Account Limits (Individual)

Account TypeMaximum Active Funded Accounts
Elite Sim Funded + Instant Sim Funded (combined)3 (100k/150k sizes) OR 5 (25k/50k sizes)
S2F Sim PRO10
Ignite10
Elite Daily5
Elite ACCESS5

Challenge accounts are not subject to limits. You can hold an unlimited number of active Elite Challenge accounts. Challenge accounts are also limited in other ways during specific stages (e.g., only 1 challenge account may be traded during Pre-Live).

For Elite Daily specifically, traders may purchase a maximum of 10 evaluation accounts within any rolling 30-day period, and each evaluation account may be reset a maximum of 12 times within a 30-day window.

Household Limits

Household limits apply to all traders sharing the same residence. These limits restrict the combined total of funded accounts across all individuals in the household:

Account TypeHousehold Maximum
Elite Sim Funded + Instant Sim Funded (combined)3 (100k/150k) OR 5 (25k/50k)
S2F Sim PRO5
Ignite6
Elite Daily5

If any trader in a household has an active live funded account, no additional sim funded accounts of any type are permitted for anyone in that household.

Payment Method Ownership

All account purchases and funding must be made using payment methods owned by the account holder. Use of a third party’s card or payment method is prohibited. Top One Futures may request documentation to verify ownership before processing payouts.

Trading Platforms

Available Platforms

Top One Futures is not locked to a single proprietary platform. The primary trading platform is Tradovate, accessed through the Tradovate web or desktop interface. Traders can also connect their Tradovate account to NinjaTrader 8 or to TradingView.

For NinjaTrader 8 integration, traders connect their Tradovate credentials via the NinjaTrader platform. For TradingView, traders must first complete the Tradovate Market Data Subscriber Certification before connecting. This is a one-time step done through the Tradovate platform and doesn’t need to be repeated for future accounts.

The trade copier feature is built directly into Tradovate.

Data Feeds & Connectivity

Accounts use the Tradovate data feed. The free version of TradingView updates data only every few seconds; a paid TradingView subscription is required for real-time data when using TradingView as your charting interface. TradingView connection issues are outside Top One Futures’ support scope, as TradingView is a third-party platform.

Top One Futures accounts use the Tradovate data feed. Rithmic connectivity is not available.

Billing & Account Management

Subscription Model

Elite Challenge accounts operate on a monthly subscription that renews on the same calendar date each month as the original purchase, not every 30 days. If you purchased on March 21, your next renewal is April 21.

Subscriptions don’t cancel automatically upon passing or failing. If you pass the Elite Challenge, your subscription only stops after you pay the $149 activation fee. If you fail, you must manually cancel through the Billing section of your dashboard to stop future charges. Failed payments cancel the subscription and close the account.

Elite ACCESS and Elite Daily also use a subscription or one-time fee structure. Elite Daily subscriptions follow the same renewal pattern: manual cancellation is required if you fail, and the subscription ends automatically upon passing.

Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, and Ignite use one-time or ongoing fee structures that are not fully detailed in the Top One Futures help center.

Resets

Elite Challenge: Reset fees are below the monthly subscription cost ($39 for $25k, $59 for $50k, $109 for $100k, $169 for $150k). Resets must be used within 14 days of the account being breached. After 14 days, the reset option expires. A reset restores the account to its original starting balance and clears P&L history. The same profit target and drawdown parameters from the original account are maintained. Discounts and coupons do not apply to reset fees.

Elite Sim Funded: Resets are available at $199 ($25k), $299 ($50k), $399 ($100k), and $499 ($150k). Same 14-day window and same restoration mechanics. Instant Sim Funded accounts cannot be reset.

Elite Daily: Both challenge and funded accounts can be reset. Challenge resets cost $79/$95/$185 (by account size). Funded resets cost $299/$499/$849. The same 14-day window and restoration mechanics apply.

Elite ACCESS: The evaluation resets at a flat $35 regardless of account size. Funded reset costs range from $299 to $1,349 depending on account size; specific per-size amounts should be confirmed with support.

S2F Sim PRO and Ignite: Resets are not available on these account types.

Payouts & Withdrawals

This section covers payment methods, processing timelines, and eligibility requirements. Rules governing when you can request a payout (profit targets, consistency, buffers, caps, and frequency) are covered in the Funded Account Rules section.

Payment Methods

Top One Futures processes all payouts through Rise (Riseworks.io). Two payment methods are supported: cryptocurrency and bank transfer. If you’re unable to use Rise, contact support to arrange an alternative method (such as direct crypto payment).

Processing Times

Top One Futures does not publish specific processing times for payouts by method. Contact support or Rise (Riseworks.io) for estimated timelines.

Tax & Eligibility Requirements

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required before trading on any sim funded account. Traders must complete identity verification in the Identity Verification tab of their dashboard, then sign the trader contract before trading begins. KYC is required for all account types.

Payout recipients must also complete any required tax documentation through Rise (Riseworks.io). Rise supports a tax form questionnaire to guide this process.
